Time tracking: timer, projects, customers, timesheet, and reports

Time tracking bundles a live timer and manual entries, reporting by project and customer, a week-based timesheet for the whole team, and reports with trends, a team comparison, and CSV export — across five tabs.

Prerequisites
  • You're signed in and your organization has the "Time Tracking" module enabled.

The five tabs at a glance

  • Timer: live timer and manual entry, also startable directly from a task card.
  • Projects: time by category and task, expandable down to the person.
  • Customers: time by linked CRM lead.
  • Timesheet: a weekly grid with every organization member.
  • Reports: metrics, trends, team comparison, and CSV export.

Frequently asked questions

Who sees other team members' time?

It differs by tab: the Timer list and Projects show only your own entries by default, Customers shows your own entries with an optional team toggle, and Timesheet and Reports always show every entry in the organization.

Who can log time for other people?

Only Owners and Admins of the organization. In the timesheet, you can pick a different user in the "User" field for any member, but the entry is only saved under that name if you hold one of those two roles — otherwise saving fails.

Why don't I see any entries in the Customers tab?

The tab only shows time whose project is linked to a CRM lead. Without that link, the tab stays empty.
