Time tracking: analyze reports and export as CSV

The Reports tab evaluates the whole team's time for a chosen period — with trends, a team comparison, team performance, top tasks by time, and a logged CSV export.

Prerequisites
  • You're signed in and your organization has the "Time Tracking" module enabled.

Choose a period

At the top, you switch between 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days — the choice applies to every tile and chart on this page. Four tiles show total hours, number of entries, average per entry, and number of people within the chosen period.

Read trends and the team comparison

  • Daily trend: an area chart of hours per day within the chosen period.
  • Weekly trend: a bar chart of the last 12 calendar weeks, independent of the period chosen above.
  • Team comparison: stacked daily bars for the last 7 days, for the five people with the most time, distinguished by color.

Team performance and top tasks

Team performance lists each person with total hours, number of entries, number of tasks, and average per entry within the chosen period. Top tasks by time shows the ten most time-intensive tasks with a share bar; clicking a task expands its breakdown by person.

Export the time record as CSV

Export time record (CSV) downloads a CSV file for the period chosen above, with employee, email, date, start, end, work duration in minutes, a break column, description, and entry ID — for every person in the organization, not just you. Every export is logged server-side.

Common pitfalls

  • Breaks aren't logged separately

The "Break" column in the CSV export always contains "not tracked separately" — Project Manager currently doesn't track separate break time within a time entry.

  • The export always covers the whole organization

CSV export doesn't respect the team/own filter — it exports every organization member's entries within the chosen period.

  • The weekly trend follows its own period

The "Weekly trend" chart always shows the last 12 calendar weeks, regardless of whether 7, 30, or 90 days is chosen above.

Frequently asked questions

Who can export the time record?

Any organization member with access to time tracking can download the CSV export for the chosen period; the export is logged server-side and always covers every person in the organization.

What's the Break column in the CSV for?

It's meant as a field for future, separate break tracking. Right now, Project Manager always fills in "not tracked separately" there, because breaks within a time entry aren't recorded separately.

Why doesn't a task in "Top tasks" expand?

Entries with no assigned task are grouped under "No task" and can't be expanded by person — only real tasks with an ID support that.
