How a meeting chat is created
As soon as a meeting gets a transcript, Project Manager automatically creates its own chat channel for it. The creator automatically becomes channel Admin; recognized internal participants (matched by name from the free-text participants field) are automatically added as Member, external guests with no account aren't.
Transcript, summary, and action items in chat
The (truncated if needed) transcript and, once it exists, the summary are automatically posted to the channel — both clearly marked as AI-generated, except for the transcript itself, which is a plain record. Project Manager also suggests open action items from the meeting individually, as items you can accept or dismiss; an accepted item becomes a real task directly.
Ask questions about the meeting via /ai
In a meeting chat, "/ai" only answers questions about that specific meeting — based on the transcript, summary, and action items, plus the conversation so far in the channel. With no instruction of your own, the assistant gives a short summary of the meeting.
Understand "Your Daily Overview"
Every person automatically gets a personal channel called Your Daily Overview — with you as its only member, across organizations. Once a day, Project Manager automatically posts an AI-written summary of your tasks and appointments there, across every one of your organizations, along with a short push notification.
Trigger an overview yourself at any time
The Daily Overview button on the dashboard generates the same overview instantly, on demand — with no push notification, since you're already in the app. Handy if the fixed daily time doesn't suit you, or you want a current status in between.
Turn off the daily overview
Under Account → Notifications, you can turn off Daily overview individually; the channel itself stays, nothing just gets posted to it automatically anymore. If there's nothing to report on a given day anyway, Project Manager automatically skips the post instead of an empty entry.
Common pitfalls
External meeting guests don't automatically land in chat
A meeting's participants are a free-text field with no linked account. Only internal organization members clearly recognized by name are added automatically — external guests would need to be informed separately, outside the meeting chat.
The daily time is fixed for everyone
The automatic daily overview runs for every user at a single fixed time, with no individually chosen time. Anyone who needs it at a different time uses the Daily Overview button on the dashboard.
One daily overview per day
The automatic run posts at most once per calendar day; an additional, manually triggered overview via the dashboard button is possible at any time regardless.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add more people to my daily overview channel?
No, this channel is deliberately personal and always has only you as a member.
Does every meeting automatically turn into a chat?
Only once a transcript exists. A meeting with no transcript doesn't get its own chat channel.
Is the meeting summary in chat marked as AI-generated?
Yes — the summary, action-item suggestions, and answers to /ai questions all visibly carry the AI notice. Only the plain transcript itself counts as a record, not generated content.
