Open the member list
Open Manage organizations, choose the organization, and switch to Members. Check existing memberships and pending invites before inviting someone again.
Invite by email
The organization role and an optional custom access role serve different purposes.
- Click Invite member and enter the email address.
- Choose Admin, Member, or Viewer as the organization role.
- Optionally choose a custom access role for restricted module access.
- Send the invite and check the confirmation.
- After they join, check the roles in the member list.
Create an invite link
A shareable link isn't limited to a single email address. The chosen roles apply to anyone who joins through it.
- In the Members tab, open Invite links and create a new link.
- Choose the organization role and an optional access role.
- Create the link and copy it from the list.
- Share it with the people you intend.
Manage invite links
Use the actions in the link list to keep invites current.
- Copy
- Copies the current invite address.
- Refresh token
- Generates a new address for the link. Old addresses already shared stop working afterward.
- Disable
- Prevents further joins through this link until it's re-enabled.
- Delete
- Removes the invite link. Members who already joined aren't removed by this.
Edit or remove a member
Open the edit action on the person and adjust their organization or access role. Remove ends their membership in this organization; it's not a deletion of their entire account. You can withdraw pending invites separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can I set someone as Owner directly through an invite?
No. Ownership is transferred separately, from the current Owner to a member who has already joined.
Does full access automatically mean Admin rights?
No. Full access here just means no additional restriction from a custom access role. The organization role still applies.
Does disabling a link remove existing members?
No. It only prevents new joins through the link. Manage existing memberships in the member list.
