Open notifications
Click the bell icon in the sidebar. The number indicates unread alerts. The notifications page shows your most recent notifications, including from different organizations.
Filter by organization, category, and read status
Choose the organization you want and a category. Turn on Unread only if you want to work through open alerts. The filters only narrow the current list; they don't change your notification settings. The overview currently loads the most recent 50 alerts, not a full archive.
Jump to the related content
Click a notification. It's marked as read and takes you to the linked module or content in the matching organization context. If the content was removed or your access changed, it may no longer be reachable.
Mark everything as read
Use Mark all as read when you want to clear your open alerts. This action applies to all your notifications across organizations, even while an organization or category filter is active. Alerts are marked as read, not deleted.
Configure personal notifications
Open your account settings and the Notifications section. Adjust the available notification types there and check the confirmation when you save. These settings belong to your account. Push alerts also require matching permissions in your browser or on your mobile device.
Control chat notifications
You can mute general notifications for individual chat channels from within chat. Regular chat messages are mostly delivered as push alerts and don't create an entry on the notifications page for every message. Direct mentions can bypass a channel mute; your personal mention setting still applies.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I find every chat message on the notifications page?
Regular chat traffic mostly uses push notifications. Mentions and certain special events can create their own entries in the overview.
Why do I get an alert even though chat is muted?
A direct mention is handled separately. Also check the account setting for mentions.
Does a filter turn off notifications?
No. Filters only control which existing alerts you see. Which alerts you receive is controlled in your account and module settings.
